The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two of the two accountants in a hotel in Washim today demanding a bribe of 10 thousand rupees to build the report of the Gram Panchayat. The names of the accused are Mahendra Jogeshwar Shukla (Senior Accounts Officer Nagpur) and Vijay Anandrao Nandanwar (Accounts Officer, Nagpur).

According to sources, the complainants are from Washim district. He wanted the Gram Panchayat's audit report to be the best quality. He has contacted Shukla and Nanandwala for this. Both the people said that they would have paid a bribe of 10 thousand rupees if they had a mind-boggling report. The complainant lodged a complaint with the Nagpur unit of Superintendent of Police Vijendra Bidri, who took the role as a good job. After the complaint, they ordered local officials to take action. The trap was laid accordingly. Meanwhile, after scrutinizing the Panchayat work, the complainants called Shukla and Nandanwar on Thursday afternoon in a hotel in Washim. Both of them were taken in custody by the CBI team after accepting a bribe in the hotel. The same sensation after the information reached the accounting officer's office.
