Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing (LEW) of Vidarbha Industries Association conducted two day workshop titled “Sales Empowerment for Women Entrepreneurs” in collaboration with Strategic Concepts (I) Pvt Ltd, Nagpur on 23rd and 24th April 2018 at VIA Auditorium, Nagpur.

Sanjay Singh, Founder of Strategic Concepts (I) Pvt Ltd and MDF Faculty IIM Kolkota, was the key note speaker, who delved with the idea of learning how to increase the prospect base of customers by 7X and leverage the billing from existing customers by 2X. To achieve the first goal he suggested tools like outreaching to the market and understanding the importance of CRM, Cross Selling, Reference Selling, Complaint Desk Management and telecalling. To leverage business from existing customers Sanjay spoke about Lapsation, Stickiness, Basket migration, Basket Size, Basket value and Recency, Frequency & Monetary Value(RFM) as great tools.

Mili Juneja, Knowledge Resource, Strategic Concepts and IIM Lucknow alumnus, spoke on “The DNA of Sales”. She extensively elucidated the need to form a sales ecosystem, which supports customer centricity and a rich Customer experience, which is backed by regular customer feedback. In her speech she spoke about the good traits of a successful sales person and the importance of maintaining a robust sales pipeline and management of the same.

 Mayur Vyas, a Strategic Concepts associate and CEO of Digitally Right, spoke about Digital Selling and discussed freeware’s available on Internet with the help of which VIA LEW members can start their digital campaign free of cost. Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Mailchimp, Canva, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Hashtags and Keywords selection formed the central theme around which he based his discussion.

Earlier, Shachi Mallick, Chairperson of VIA LEW in her welcome address expressed her happiness over joining hands with Strategic Concepts (I) Pvt Ltd, Nagpur for conducting this workshop. She said importance of various modes of marketing for entrepreneurs and startsup, and for any enterprise without proper marketing of its products no one can reach to its real consumer. Madhubala Singh Advisory of LEW welcomed Sanjay Singh; Shachi Mallick welcomed Mayur Vyas and Vandana Sharma, Immd Past Chairperson LEW welcomed Mili Junena with floral bouquets and also lighting up the traditional lamp.

The workshop got tremendous response from LEW Members, Entrepreneurs, Startsup and more than 50 participants were attended. All participants were given participation certificates at the hands of guest speakers.

Chitra Parate, Past Chairperson of the LEW introduced the speakers and also conducted the proceedings in initial day of the event and second day Poonam Lala, Vice Chairperson of LEW conducted the proceedings. Reeta Lanjewar, Secretary of VIA LEW, summed up the event and proposed a formal vote of thanks.  Also attended the workshop by Manisha Bawankar, Vice Chairperson; Shikha Khare, PRO; Mitali Rafique EC Member.
