Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University has found a shocking statement that the postgraduate degree of 'Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Vicharadhara', which started from 2009, has not been approved by the University Grants Commission. The university has not yet sent a proposal to the UGC, official sources said.

After the renaming of Nagpur University's Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, then Vice Chancellor Dr. Sh. N. Pathan had announced the decision to set up a National Institution of Tukadoji Maharaj and to prepare a syllabus based on national literature. Accordingly, the special study boards established by the University This course was developed by Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj ideology. In that syllabus, admission is given from 2009.

Meanwhile, this course was started at the university level. He was approved by the Vidyut Parishad and the Management Council. However, the program has not been sent to the University Grants Commission for permission. The University has autonomy for starting any course. However, getting licensed by University Grants Commission is equally important for taking that course to the national level. Only university students are studying national literature and ideas. The degree course has not yet reached the state level. So, the expectation that the curriculum was started did not achieve much success. Since the University Grants Commission did not have the approval, a student of nationalistic ideology course has a Ph.D. If you register for a degree, that degree also will not get recognition. As a result, the process of preparing a teacher for this course has been stuck.

Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor Dr Siddharth Vinayak Kane agreed that the concept of National Thinking Course was not UGC's approval. With no UGC approval, teachers, research grants and Ph.D. Gradual recognition will remain incomplete. Therefore, the proposal will be sent immediately to get UGC approval for this course, said Vice Chancellor Dr Siddharth Vinayak Kane.
